You Are Unique

The reasons to why all people need different training programs & nutrition! 

I used to ask myself why I couldn’t be as lean and muscular as people around me. Why I had such a hard time getting that last layer of fat off. Was there something wrong with me, my body and my metabolism? I was spinning my wheels until one day, it finally clicked! It was when I met my mentor and coach who taught me everything that I needed to know in order to get lean and stay lean, for life!

 

Maybe you are not struggling with losing fat and building muscles, maybe you are struggling with not gaining weight, other health problems or you are struggling to get started. Whatever it is I just want to let you know that it is okay, you are not alone and most importantly YOU ARE UNIQUE! 

Now you might wonder why it matters that “I’m Unique?”

It really does matter, it matters more than you think. It matters because you need your own specific individual approach in order to gain, lose, build or get started. You can’t just simply do the same thing as someone else and expect the same results as they got. It is so much more complex than that, our bodies are designed the same way but yet so different.

Different in the aspect that we react differently to training and nutrition.

Three key things to take into consideration that is UNIQUE for you 

 

  1. The amount of food you need
    You need to calculate your daily calorie needs based on your height, weight, age and activity level. It’s not always as easy as that, because the calculators are not always accurate and might be miss leading. For myself it’s been a lot of trial and error and I have been able to increase and raise my total daily caloric intake with reverse dieting. That means more quality foods daily, I’m happy and my body is happy!
  2. The amount of training you need
    Depending on your training level (advanced, intermediate or beginner) you will need a different training split and different amount of training volume and intensity. If you train too much you will not be able to recover and if you train too little you will not see a change. So even here we need to try and see what works best for you and your body.
  3. General lifestyle & stress reduction 
    In order to see results, perform in the gym and in life you need to look at your lifestyle such as your stress level, your sleep quality, your breathing, your thinking and your environment. These all support you in reaching your goal and you might need 9 hours of sleep while your friend or partner only needs 7 hours. It is extremely individual.

If there was a universal one way to get in shape and stay in shape, we should all do the same things in order to walk around looking the same and feeling the same. That is not the case, even though it would be easier that way, we need to take it to a personalized level in order to reach your specific goals and make it fit into your life.

 

My approach “The Mindful Nutrition & Training” is about being mindful when training and building muscles, when eating but also with all other aspects in life, this in combination with the right amount of training and food for YOU and YOUR body. This is the secret to what will give you the results you are looking for. This is what I use for myself and hundreds of clients I have helped.

 

Do yourself a favor and skip all the quick fixes and fad diets that will leave you burnt out and which will have you bounce back quicker than you reached your goal. Try a real approach that will help you and more importantly, it will give you long lasting and sustainable results.
